One of the top four GDS Game Jam game
Hi,
So a few weeks ago I have decided to join the GDS Game Jam in the Czech Republic and bring my friend with me. The theme was: “Meaningful Choices.” And we didn’t expect much from, but it was worth a shot.
After an hour of brainstorming, we came with an idea. It should be something like an old gamebook and DnD experience in digital form. Where your every choice changes the ending of you. And we did it. We made a gamebook spinoff with about a knight that goes into the Dungeon of Choices. His goal is to find the holy grail like in the Monty Python. But this time, it’s without the rabbit of death and knights that say: “NI!”.
Later we were quite surprised that we were in the top 4 games of this Jam (from something about 30) and got an invitation to GDS Conference Indie Expo where we presented our game.
Today the conference ended, and we are back with very positive feedback from people and developers. Future updates will come in the new year, and we plan to evolve this little idea that turned into an ambitious game.
So stay tuned! We would appreciate any feedback and ratings so we could bring a better update next time!
